Project manager
I was born and raised in Nkongsamba, a farming town in Cameroon. I did my elementary school and part of high school there. I was exposed early on to humanitarian and community work in education and agriculture.
During my stay in secondary school, I got involved on a voluntary basis in several sports organizations and associations. I have always been enthusiastic about supporting others. After my B.Sc. in chemistry, I enrolled in the Italian humanitarian organization called Centro Orientamento Educativo (COE -Cameroun) with which I worked for 3 years as a teacher and youth leader in a locality remote from large urban centers. .
A grant from the German government will allow me to continue my doctoral studies in chemistry of polymer materials in Germany. I was active in the association of foreign students at my university. There, I also met the chosen one of my heart, Charity, with whom I have always walked. Subsequently, we worked at the University of Strasbourg me as a researcher in polymer materials and she secretary-translator.
After immigrating to Quebec (Canada) in the early 2000s, we spent a few years integrating ourselves. I have held R&D chemist positions in several companies and managed multiple projects. Once this integration phase of our life was accomplished, we began to think about the actions to be taken to support our community in a more structural way.
After several discussions with Charity on the process to follow to have more impact in our community, we have decided to partially look back to our original societies in order to offer a smile and a ray of hope to vulnerable populations. The idea of creating the Charity Helping Hands Association with the support of several friends was therefore born from these reflections and will form the basis of our Give back to the community.
From now on, I will put my experience as a project manager and all my expertise at the service of CHHA to allow the achievement of the set objectives.
